Transfer file ownership in Google Drive to ensure important documents are retained before deleting a user.
- Log in to the Admin Console.
- Go to Tools > Data Transfer.
- Enter the source user’s email in the From user field and the recipient’s in To user.
- Select Google Drive as the service to transfer.
- Click Transfer Files, then verify the recipient has access once the process completes.
