Transfer file ownership in Google Drive to ensure important documents are retained before deleting a user.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Go to Tools > Data Transfer.
  3. Enter the source user’s email in the From user field and the recipient’s in To user.
  4. Select Google Drive as the service to transfer.
  5. Click Transfer Files, then verify the recipient has access once the process completes.
